Minimum order $180 for delivery service. **Q:Are there extra charges for certain locations?** $25 surcharge for Sentosa, Tuas, and Jurong Island. $60 surcharge for Changi Exhibition Centre. $150/hour for deliveries outside business hours (before 9am or after 9pm). **Q:Can I collect the equipment myself?** Self collection available by appointment at 10am, 6pm, or 8pm from our office at 341 Hougang Ave 7 #07-457 (use Lift B). You're responsible for any transport damage. **Q:How is the rental period calculated?** Rental is charged per day (24-hour period). 30-minute grace period for late returns, then an extra day is charged. **Q:Can you install apps on the iPads before delivery?** Yes, we offer pre-installation service. Send us app/file links by 4pm at least 2 working weekdays before your rental starts. You can also install apps yourself using your Apple ID. **Q:What if I sign into iCloud on the device?** You must log out of iCloud before returning. If the device is locked with your iCloud and you can't provide the password, you'll need to pay the full retail price. **Q:How do I return floor kiosks?** Remove iPads from kiosks and place them in their protective cases before return. $150 fee per kiosk if iPads are not removed. **Q:Can I get same-day or last-minute delivery?** Yes, with a rush fee. Rush orders include: same-day delivery, orders confirmed after 4pm for next-day delivery, or orders confirmed after 4pm Friday for weekend/Monday delivery. Self-collection is not available for rush orders—delivery only ($180 minimum). **Q:What's your cancellation policy?** 15+ days before rental: no charge. 3–14 days before: 50% fee. By renting from TouristPads, you agree to these terms. The Company shall refer to TouristPads (UEN: 53214099X). The Customer shall be defined as the company which collects and assumes the responsibility of the Equipment at the chosen delivery point. These terms and conditions apply to the rental service available on www.touristpads.com, and used in rental contracts between the Customer and the Company. #### Equipment The Company will provide the Customer with the rental items as stated in the invoice (Equipment). #### Delivery and Collection To qualify for delivery & collection, your order (excluding the delivery and collection fee) must total at least $180. Deliveries and collections occur between 9am to 9pm, which are defined as our standard business hours. A $150 surcharge applies for each hour of delivery or collection conducted outside of business hours (9am to 9pm). The Company will assume all risks of loss and damage that may occur during delivery. #### Self Collection and Self Return All self collections and self returns should be made at our home office, located at 341 Hougang Ave 7 #07-457 (please use Lift B). To ensure proper handing over and return, do come up to our home office, we are unable to meet you at the void deck or carpark. Self collection and self return is by appointment only, at the fixed timings of 10am, 6pm, and 8pm. For self collection and self return, any damage to the rental items during transport will be the Customer's responsibility. The cost of repairs will be determined based on the extent of the damage. Late Collection: If the Customer fails to collect the rental items within 30 minutes of the scheduled collection appointment, the rental will be considered cancelled by the Customer. Late Return: For late returns, a grace period of 30 minutes will be given, beyond which an additional day will be charged. The Customer will pay for the extra day/s of rental if the items are not returned within the grace period. #### Surcharges * $25 location fee per delivery to or collection from Sentosa, Tuas, Jurong Island/Shipyard/Port. * $60 location fee per delivery to or collection from Changi Exhibition Centre. * A $150 surcharge applies for each hour of delivery or collection conducted outside of business hours (9am to 9pm). #### Floor Kiosks Before passing the floor kiosks and iPads back to our courier during collection, the iPads have to be removed from the kiosk and placed back into their provided protective iPad casings. A fee of $150 will be charged per kiosk if the iPads are not removed from the kiosk before return. Any damage to the iPads due to non-removal of the iPads from the kiosk during transport will be paid by the Customer. #### App/File/Link Pre-Installation Service We permit you to install any app, file, or link on the rented devices using your own Apple ID or Playstore ID after receiving the devices. Please note that we cannot provide an Apple ID. We extend a pre-installation service for apps, files, or links. This service covers a one-time installation prior to the delivery of the iPads. Please be aware that we cannot provide assistance with app updates during your rental period. To update an app, you will need to use your Apple ID to reinstall it. For any app-related issues, we recommend contacting the app's developer directly. You must provide us with the links to the files/apps by 4pm, at least two working weekdays before the start date of your rental. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if we do not receive the links in the stipulated time frame. #### At the start of the rental period At the handover of the Equipment, the customer must: 1. Produce a copy of a legal form of identification. 2. Upon receiving the Equipment, the Customer must inspect it for any defects and declare these to the delivery personnel. If no defects are declared at this time, the Equipment will be considered to be in excellent working condition. It is the Customer's responsibility to return the Equipment in this same condition. #### During the rental period The Customer is responsible for the Equipment throughout the rental period. The Equipment can be returned earlier than the scheduled end of the rental period, but no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the rental period. #### iCloud If you log into iCloud during your rental period, it is essential that you log out before returning the device. Please be aware that failure to log out of iCloud, combined with an inability to provide the necessary password for logout, will render the device unusable for future rentals. In such a case, you will be required to purchase the device at its full retail price. #### Manpower support The Company will replace any faulty equipment within one working day of notification. There will be no fee for replacement of faulty equipment. However, if the equipment is found to be working fine, the following fees will apply: * A transport fee of $70 per trip. * A manpower support fee of $300 per hour for software/hardware installation support. #### At the end of the rental period At the end of the rental period, the Customer must return the Equipment in the same condition as when it was received. #### Responsibility of Customer By renting the Equipment, the Customer agrees to: 1. Assume responsibility for any damage, loss or theft of the Equipment during the rental period. 2. For damage of the Equipment, a repair charge as quoted by a repair shop will be levied. If the Equipment is lost, or stolen, a replacement charge equal to the full cost of replacement will be levied, including costs of delivery. #### Rental Period Our rental period is charged per day. A day is defined as a 24-hour period. The Customer will be given an allowance time of 30 minutes, beyond which an additional day will be charged. The Customer may choose to return the Equipment earlier than the entitled time, subject to the business delivery and collection hours, but there will be no refund on any unused time on the rental. #### Availability and Acceptance policy The availability and rental price of the Equipment as indicated in our quotation to the Customer is guaranteed for 48 hours from the time the quotation is issued. #### Rush Fee for Last Minute / Urgent Rentals A rush fee is applicable for all last minute or urgent rentals. An urgent rental is defined by the following conditions: 1. **Same-day delivery:** The rental is confirmed and the equipment is required to be delivered on the same day. 2. **Next-day delivery:** The rental is confirmed after 4pm on a working weekday and the equipment is required to be delivered the next day. 3. **Weekend or following Monday delivery:** The rental is confirmed after 4pm on Friday and the equipment is required to be delivered on the Saturday, Sunday, or following Monday. For last-minute or urgent rentals, we regret that we are unable to offer the option for self-collection or self-return of the equipment. These rentals will require our delivery and collection services. Please note that for delivery and collection of equipment, there is a minimum order value of $180. #### Payment Payment must be made by 4pm on the due date indicated on the invoice. In case of late payments, a monthly compounded interest fee of 2% will be applied. Payments made by credit card will incur an additional processing fee. #### Cancellation policy There is no cancellation charge if the Customer informs TouristPads in writing of the cancellation at least fifteen calendar days before the scheduled rental date. Cancellations made three to fourteen calendar days before the scheduled rental date will incur a 50% fee of the total rental cost.
